Terms of service

1. Who you are dealing with

Stock & Sold is a product of CGI Web Services, Isle of Man ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@cgiweb.im, 07624 432280. These terms apply to the free demo and to the paid service.

2. The service

We build, host and maintain a dealer website for you, with stock management, enquiry handling, part exchange intake, a finance calculator, and PDF invoices and spec sheets. Hosting, SSL certificates, daily backups and support are included in the monthly price.

3. The free demo

The demo costs nothing and carries no obligation. If you give us a link to your existing listings, you are asking us to use your publicly visible stock details and photos to populate the demo. If you decide not to go ahead, we delete the demo and your details. Demo sites are ours to remove at any time before you subscribe.

4. Price and billing

The service is £39 a month, or £29 a month where you have taken a launch offer. Launch pricing is conditional on our being able to use your site as a case study once you are happy with it. Billing is monthly in advance through Stripe. There is no setup fee and no minimum term.

5. Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like by telling us. Your site stays up to the end of the period you have paid for, then comes down. For 30 days after cancellation we will provide your stock data and photos on request, free of charge. We can end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately if these terms are seriously breached or payment fails and is not put right.

6. Your content and your responsibilities

Your stock data and photos are yours. You confirm you have the right to use them, and that your listings are accurate, lawful and yours to sell. You are responsible for the accuracy of prices, vehicle descriptions and anything else you publish through the service, and for complying with the rules that apply to your trade.

7. The finance calculator

The calculator shows illustrative figures based on numbers you configure. It is not a finance offer, quotation or advice, and we are not a credit broker or lender. If you are FCA authorised or work with a finance house, checking that your site's finance content meets your regulatory obligations is your responsibility.

8. What we promise, and the limits of it

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care and aim to keep your site available at all times, but no host can honestly promise 100% uptime and we do not. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance. Our total liability to you in any 12 month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Acceptable use

The service may not be used for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful. We can suspend a site immediately if it is.

10. Changes and law

If we change these terms we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email. These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man and its courts.
